Correct, the one from Voronezh-city (ALexandr Brianzev i suppose his name is...)

DJ Fonar, DJ Kosmonavt (one half of Radio-Trance you can still find some of their stuff on the mp3.com), PPK, just look up ppl that mostly play at Electronic Music festivals in Russia. I know that there is suposed to be a 2nd Love Parade in Moscow this year, and a lot of the European DJ's are going there. I know for sure that Mauro Picotto is going to be there as well as Westbam.
Also there is DJ Nikk who is a Hard-House DJ..
Also in regards to the Toronto scene here is what we have:
There are Mifody, Android and Korjov. Mifody spins Trance, you can usually hear him at Viva. Android spins techno. And Korjov spins prog. house - you can catch him first friday of each month at Temple Lounge - Russian 21+ place. (GOT THIS INFO FROM DURAFEI)
Eugene na chet Russkogo Razmera ya soglasen chto Trance Remix neplahoi, ya kupil album "Out a.k.a. BbIXOD" nedavno, no posle paru raz on mne obsalutno nadoel. I used to love them 5 years ago, but they seem to make the same stuff over and over. They have not reinvented them selves that much, they mostly stick to the POP style. |

OK, well... First of all, I don't really like PPK (by the way, they visit these forums sometimes, and I guarantee you they saw this thread :))
The quality simply doesn't compare with European Trance.
"Resurrection" was stolen (ahem, borrowed) from the Russian movie "Sibiriada". Basically these guys are a one-hit wonder where the hit wasn't even theirs. Plus I don't like the melody of "Resurrection."
Why don't we have any Russians who would write GOOD and innovative Euro-Trance? Where's the Russian equivalent of Belgian M.I.K.E./Push, British Sunscreem, Dutch Armin van Buuren?
Although, I will say this: Russian pop-dance music is very melodic and accessible, much more melodic than in the West. That's a big plus, I think. |

ToBApuc4, did u see android spin live??? that guy is AWESOME!!! :eyes: :eyes: BTW what's his real name?? I've always wanted to know that...i have lots of his trax, and THEY SURE BELONG TO THE HARDEST I'VE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE. I know that dude is well-known in London 'caz they ADORE acid there, and Android made some crazy together with Guy McAffer and Chris Liberator himself! Honestly, I think he is one of the best russian, errrr now canadian actually, techno producers out there. The guy is really BIG:eyes: |

net, ne videl ego v zhivuyu. I hope I do some day. Yeah I heard that he did some stuff with Chris Liberator. It would be nice someday to bring all the Russian talent together for like a festival or something. just a thought!
