Did anyone go see Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin and Eric Morillo @South Str. Seaport??? I'm not one to spread rumors...BUT I heard that b/c of the wind an the rain two of the three tents collapsed, causing everyone to cram into the main tent. This in turn caused a huge wait for all those wanting to get in, regardless of having a ticket (which by the way was $40). Some ppl apparently waited in the rain for three/four hours to boot. ALSO b/c of the collasped tent, the two coatrooms were in chaos. No one was allowed to get their coats, some just took whomevas. Imagine spending the loot, having a tent collaspe, and losing your coat. Good time.

Ok, I got this at SOE's website. But I heard from a lot of people that went, they had a great time =) Well, he's the scoop:

To everyone in attendance at Destination-NYC:
First and foremost, we'd like to thank everyone who came out and supported us this past Saturday March 2nd.
It was a great night of music and once again demonstrated that this remarkable city appreciates exceptional talent.
For those in attendance, please understand that we did our best to have this event go off without a glitch, but due to unruly circumstances we faced several unmanageable problems. The first issue we feel we should address is the manner in which we were letting patrons (both paying and non-paying) into the event. Early in the night, and weeks prior to Saturday we had designed a system in which we felt we could get everyone into the party in a timely and effecient manner. There had been three tents early in the night which were to seperate the advanced ticket holders/comps and vips/ and those wishing to pay at the door. Unfortunately due to the rain and gusting winds which we all experienced throughout the night, two of the small tents collapsed and we were left with one tent and thus one line to accomodate all who attended.
Secondly there are the problems with which we faced with the coat check. For this, we take full responsibility; we were understaffed and for this we are sincerely sorry.
Lastly, theres the issue with the main tent area closing down and the event continuing in the atrium at 4 AM. We posted time slots all over the venue, along with several websites so it should not have been a surprise to anyone as to who was playing where and what time.
For anyone who was not let into the atrium, we apologize but the city and the south street seaport decided to change the capacity limit on us at the last minute. Clearly, there was still room in the atrium area and we fought to have everyone admitted in, but to no avail.
Again, thanks to all those of you who have supported us over the years. If this past Saturday was the first event attended which was organized by us, we hope we left a lasting impression and that you too will continue to support us. We hope we have addressed most major issues, and if anyone has any serious personal issues at this time, we will try and reply to all of them in no particular order. Please e-mail [email protected] if these personal problems do exist.
Sincerely,
Jeff, Chris, Dana, Edwin, Flips and the entire Stuck On Earth staff.

I guess my boy , who is a compulsive liar, wasn't that far off with what happened. Call me a pessamist but i have a hard time believing boo6 will go down. If it does it will be with about 10%-15% of the actual line ups performing. i hope i'm wrong.

I just talked to Dana from SoE, and she said that everything is 100% confirmed. Oh and by the way, they just added Sandra Collins and DJ Funk to the lineup. Boo will go down.
