DJ HARN
Hi,

I have actually posted this question in the main forum too, but I thought that it should actually belong here instead. It's regarding software that can produce voices with effects, such as the voices you here a dj playin when they are on the radio, e.g. 'Dave pearce in the mix'. I heard one on a mix by SHANE 54, which said 'SHANE 54 Mixing on his Laptop' in a distorted voice with some bizarre effects. What software is capable of doing this?

hi...this belongs in the production forum but what your looking for is called a Vocoder. basically its a plugin or standalone hard/soft signal modulator. kinda like a synth but without oscillators, it just takes your carrier wave (ie a voice or any input) and modulates it however you want. there are plenty of good ones on the market but the one ive used is the one that came standard with Cubase SX3. good luck bro

Are you looking for making the actual voice?
