I never questioned Ferry's mixing, but then again I dont go and see a DJ just cause he's the best mixer on the genre. | No need to fight about it. I do not think anyone attacked Ferry, instead just observing the direction of his album. I feel Ferry has always experimented with different styles, and his last album had electro - we can all agree to that. IMO he pulled it off well, and still plays great DJ sets with something for everyone. So go if you want to, just have an open mind, and I predict you will be blown away by what Ferry brings. (BTW he did great at Global IMO) |

how would you know that it never gets sardine sytle packed?! u just turned the big 2-1 and your acting like youve seen it all. ah, melly mel:D i remember when ferry emerged back on to the miami scene back in 03'and it was packed and his sets in 04' had big turnouts also. but yeah the last few here in miami havent been all that crowded :) anyways ferry is smart, he realizes that electro is defintly the hottest thing in edm right now and he is incorporating it into his sets, or maybe he liked it all along, who cares. the point is ferry, like many of us, realizes that playing just 'trance' isnt going to draw a crowd anymore. for one, becuase the quality of productions is such now, and two the rave era is over with. |

No I'm basing my decision from that last few times. I first saw him in 04 i think when Boomer came.
Since then it's never been completely packed. :p |

This thread is a good discussion, something which the site lacks these days. Im dissapointed people couldnt keep their cyber dummies in their mouth and discuss things like adults - it's funny that it's the same people who spit their dummy out that also complain the site's going/gone to because of it.
teckniqueZ, i know you've already apologised for being abusive and props for that, but if you get so 'passionate' about something, after you've made your reply, stop, and re-read it. try and get the balance of opinion/insults firmly where it should be for the post ur making.
flo, wtf was that? mattivi's post was lighthearted - next time i'll ask him to add some smilie in for it. in the recent past you've said youre either not working / bringing in little money which is why he made the comments he did, as that situation has changed, there was no need to explode at him for comments made on previous facts.
on a side note, i've not been as active in these parts that much in the last months, due to 3 reasons. 1) I've started a new job with me working a lot more hours than i did before. 2) the forum hasn't been as busy and 3) i'm regurally pulled into other parts of ta. as a result, im in the process of transferring mods to someone else. Once that person has responded to my PM, my mods should be transferred in a few days - you'll all like who i've chosen ;) |

i dont think you realize that neil's comment was indeed very biased. but thats neither here nor there. i'm trying to ignore that kid these days anyway. but thanks for bringing a dead subject back up a month later. and i'm sorry that i dont keep my financial situation as updated as you'd like. peace coup, you were a good mod despite the world cup drama. much luck to you in the future. |

no im not mad about the world cup drama, why would i be? if i held grudges for everytime i had a difference of opinion on this site due to my position then i wouldnt like anybody. i felt, on that issue alone you overreacted.

I've seen mattivi post alot around here, although i dont appear active i still spend longer in this forum than any of the others i do (atleast ones with my name on the top) - so i still read plenty. he's never appeared an arse, or deceptive. I think people read more into his posts than he actually puts. |
