Hey guys im back! it's been a while since I got here hehe.
So, I've got alot of inspiration and this is the first thing that I had to make:
A remix of the original Scoop - Drop it, a real 2000 classic!
Build from scratch in takkra techtrance style :) I've been working on this for a couple of hours now, still a little rough. But you guys will get the idea ;)

Hi,
I Think Ure Getting Better And Better With Each Track U Do.
I Think This Is The Best Track U Have Made And Has A Nice Tech-Trance Feel To It.
The Mix Down Was Much Better On This Track Than On A Few Of Ure Others Even Though I Did Like Ure Other Tracks.

| I really like the intro. Has a really nice feel to it. I don't think the bassline fits when it comes in. Sounds a bit weak too since it's so wide. Now it's a little deeper at 1:15. I kind of lost interest with those leads you're using. The pluck sound is alright, but I don't think I really like the sound for this type of track. A new melody is coming in now...simple, but effective. Really nice rhythms before the 4 min mark. At around 4:25 I think you should add a gating pad or something to create a really techy atmosphere. It might be a little psy influenced, but I think it would really fit the track. Especially with all the other sounds that you're using in there. It sounds really dark already, but I definitely like it. Great work here once again Takkra :) |

hey mate sounds cool, but.. why... why? did you use the basssline from your solarkeys remake? the drums and kicks sound familiar to from your previous tracks. also please try to synthesize your leads maybe add a bit of reverb. in my opinion the lead sounds a bit to plain, please please update this track with a new bassline and work a bit more on the leads.

hey maat vet nummer maar verander alsjeblieft die dingen die ik ge-pinpoint heb, doe wat meer met de melody en verander die bassline. mischien kan dit nog wel een late remix zijn die kan uitgebracht worden.
als die af is stuur 'm naar een paar labels.

It seems to me that you have put a lot of effort into this track, however I am sorry to let you now that I didn't enjoy the beginning (well maybe a little), for me the track really started at 2:03 that's when I got excited and started shaking my head.
And you might want want to add an effect or two to the synth that you can hear at 2:35 like maybe a Mod Delay Effect, same thing goes for the synth that starts at 3:04.

nice and bang'n right from the start.
like'n the extra kick u threw in there...
nice gritty bassline, that really reverb gets a little tedious after a while, maybe some filtering automation or somthing would help with that.
that buzzing beep thing is really cool.
not crazy about the melody but just preference.
very minimal, just the way i like it.
has a very unique style to it.

ey bidor thanks for je pinpointers ;)!! ik heb ff moeten zoeken naar een goeie synth voor de bass.. ik heb een nieuwe plugin geprobeerd, klinkt erg vet! de lead is ook een stuk qua toon veranderd :)!
thanks putboy for listening :) in the update you'll hear the change I made to introducing the bassline ;).. hope this is good cause to me it sounds like a "nice try" haha..

and yea, the buildup always bores me Dj BERKAT, I always want to work to the climax hehe, maybe I should put some more effort into better build ups.. glad you like the track and thanks for the pointers :)!!
Hi mr. rogers :) nice to hear from you! Im glad you like the track, the bassline changed, but its till dark and gritty ;). The melody is from Scoop, a belgian producerteam. I used it because I found it sound simple and energetic :) I like the minimal stuff alot too ;)!!

very techy from the start. nice groove to it though. as lindo pointed out the bass seems out of place when it comes it. nice melody you brought in though. are you going for a marco v style? sounds like it with the offbeat melody coming in every now and again.
really like the synth used for the melody and the melody itself. i think you need more fx in here though to give the track some presence.

Im happy you like the groove! after hearing it a couple of times im not so selfinsured anymore :p..
Ive changed the leading synth a little bit with some fx, and some more eq tweaking, it should "sparkle" from the rest of the track now ;) lol..
yea for the special fx.. I search alot, but I cant find any cool fx.. it's all these ACID fx loops and stuff :p thanks for listening! and im happy you also liked the track! |
