Doesnt matter how good the sound engineer is, it's still gonna be damaging your ears at that volume |

you can still have it loud without it being painful on the ears though.. the heaven main room is a perfect example
it's all about making the lows nice & punchy without blasting out the mids & highs too much.. those are what make your ears bleed |

But still, even the best club sound systems will damage your hearing at the volume levels that are reached, the only way to avoid damage is to wear hearing protection. |

The whole point of our criticisms is that we don't mind getting our ears damaged, its the way that its done that we're complaining about ;)
high frequencies at high decibel levels are immediately more damaging than low frequencies at high decibel levls, as its just massive volumes of air.
I can sit in a SPL car that pumps out 145 DB of pure bass for as long as i like and not feel the need to put my fingers in my ears due to the sound. |

Me too. ;)
Cracking night - one of the trance parties of the year, no doubt. Vaccine yet again goes from strength to strength and underlines its reputation as one of the foremost trance parties in the UK. :D |

Incredible night and one of the best night ever
Did anyone indentify the first tune played by Marc Van Linden? Sounds like take a good pill, take a red pill |
|
|
| djdk |
| it soundede to me like The Matrix - Take The Red Pill, Take The Blue Pill, possibly the Junkie XL mix, but tbh so many tracks have used that MAtrix sample that it could be anything |
|
|
| isoterra |
| he uses the sample on it's own & combines it with other tracks... at wildchild a few months ago he mixed it into control freak (svd mix), and i remember rick telling me what he started with at vaccine but it's slipped my mind now |
