Look at anyone's album, there's usually wayyyyy more than just 4 or 5 people who were involved in the sound part of it.

We have no idea how much or how little any of them are involved in the actual creative process and there's a high likelihood they are only involved with the highly technical aspects-

So I prefer not to judge.

In the insert Sasha explains Simon Wright came up with the modified bassline for the Lostep - Burma remix. I doubt the help stopped there with that many guys on the project, not to mention Charlie May is in Spooky.

At the end of the day, Sasha had the final say and he put it all together...and its a great CD. But its good to give the other guys some credit aswell.

So he used an engineer or 4... I wouldnt expect one guy to be able to do all that. It's almost NEVER just one guy.

almost!

Please, show to me a track never went through ANY third party sound changes from creation to being pressed.

I probably won't believe you anyways.

Rather defensive eh allied nations? but i see where your coming from, i notice a lot of people go "oh so other people made that song or remix" but in the end its the sound that counts, plus i love charlie may...he must be pretty cool to work on sasha tracks so much, i mean there hasnt been a lot of spooky recently (and i do get that he's paid, no need to point that out)

most of Richie Hawtin's productions under his name or aliases dosen't go to any third party. His remixed compilations don't go through any third parties either. And by third parties im referring to the production of the track itself, not any work that is done in a studio before a release.

EDIT:just so we're clear,

by any work, i mean mastering or improving sound quality of track or compilation. It's pretty obvious he isn't going to do that himself, so i hope that wasn't your argument.

Of course, no one's claiming otherwise (at least I'm not). We're just clarifying about all the cogs, wheels, and sprockets that make up the machine that is Sasha!

:)

At the end of the day, for the most part "Sasha" albums = Alexander Coe & Charlie May (& friends!) collaborative efforts.

Dont forget our friend Tom
