I was completely overwhelmed on Friday! Turning 21 was never supposed to be so much fun but put 60 friends in my party room for a few hours and I knew it was going to be a celebration to remember.
I love This Is London so when I knew my party room had to be vacated by midnight, TIL was the obvious choice to continue the party. I had asked around and thought that there would be about 10-15 of us going so Dan 'Fairy Godfather' chatted with Marco and Tera last week to sort out line bypass etc. When we arrived with 32 people, I thought there may be an issue but no, there was a VIP area for us and we all got in no problem, birthday girl and a few others for free and reduced cover for the rest!
I just wanted to make it known that Marco et al went way above and beyond and I am truly grateful. Dan, Nic and everyone who made so much effort for me, thank you.
We rocked at TIL until 4.30am and continued the party until way into the afternoon - thank you everyone! |

Glad you had a great birthday Rach and another HUGE thanks to Marco and the team at This Is London.
You made us feel so welcome and it truly reminded me why TIL is one of my favourite places to be! |

Hey Rachel,
Each year we have the challenge of "topping" the birthday celebration of the previous year!
I think you are right...this one was a bang up job! Everyone had a blast!
To all the staff at This is London...and especially to Marco and Stephanie....THANK YOU! The reception we received was above and beyond! It's what makes the clubing experience so very much better!

I will explain to all of those that think I am a dumb blonde....
The second post was my friend, Nicola. No, we aren't on the same computer but she knows my password so I think she logged in as me.
I don't mind people thinking I am daft. But Irish?? Come on now, there's no need for that ;)
I am off on my annual VFestival trip back to the UK on Thursday (http://www.vfestival.com/index.html?pid=37) so I will miss Dan's big birthday bash (again :(). Please make sure he has the best time at Sonic on the 26th!!! |
