They're asking for the midi clip. The midi is the information that triggers the synthesizer. |

would that be like a screen shot of how the sample was created in the sequencer??
thanks... |

do you not know what a midi file is :conf:
its the chord progression of the tune of the track. i dont know the technical terms to use but basically you import the midi file into your sequencer then run your vst output to the midi and this will play the chord progression using your chosen vst. |

No it would be the actual midi file. You would open the midi file in a sequencer and route that file into a synthesizer then the synthesizer would play the music. |

It's like asking for the scoresheet or tabliture. It contains all the notes of a melody or song. basically |

In your sequencer there should be an option "Save As" and choose "midi file". If you just want a small bit of the midi (not the whole tune) then delete all the bits you don't want (including the Softsynth tracks if thats appropiate for your sequencer) save it as a new project file (so you don't lose all the work you've done so far). Then do the "Save As" and choose midi.
That should create a midi file that can be sent to another user for importing into their sequencer.
Hope thats clear, and not as muddy as my mixes...

Despite the fact that you write really ugly. I'll answer your question. But please don't use 1 instead of one or any "ZOMGICAN1337SP33K"-kinda language when asking an acctuall question. It will only make you look stupid.
Now, a MIDI-file contains all the information the sequenser needs to create said melody and/or automation. It's like asking for the sheet music in this case.
