I haven't been, but I've heard it's really upscale and more of a bottle service type of venue than those that I usually frequent.

Here's the Citysearch reviews - http://newyork.citysearch.com/review/41797839. My favorite was this one

This place is ordinarily not my style - as in the bouncer seemed troublesome, inquiring in the typical front-man speak, "who's party are you here for?" and the patrons looked a tad wee bit pretentious...but I dared enter. I was w/ a girl, and told the bouncer we were meeting friends at the bar - surprisingly, no trouble at all. (1 PT). No trouble getting drinks either, at any point of the night. (2 PTs). DJ actually played a pretty decent set. (1 PT). But the ultimate bonus? The live Discovery Channel Event (1,000 PTs). There were just packs of cougars on the prowl everywhere. Not the common cougar, no sir - I'm talking hot, monied cougars fresh off the op table and starved for it. It was just thoroughly entertaining to watch this female species in action. My crew and I will be back again to document future sightings!!

Pros: Different Club Vibe, Cougar Patrol
Cons: Slightly Pretentious, Pricey
Overall user rating: Recommended

Also, I believe it opened last summer/fall.

I actually checked out Nikki last saturday night with some friends. The staff was extremely nice, the sound was decent (the main room isnt too big so sound does not get lost), lighting was pretty good too. I think it def has the potential for future EDM events to be held there. Sure, you get a "top-40" type crowd there, but hey, if a DJ could bring more of an EDM crowd than it would be a perfect and comfortable(alot of seating) place to see a dj.

Bottle service is encouraged, however, def not necessary. Anyways good luck to this party, would be nice to have other venues like Element and Nikki to go to on a monthly/weekly basis.:toocool:

Well tomorrow is Thursday and there's no new info yet. When can we expect ticket prices and time info for this one?

Other than that, I'm thinking of hitting Element first...then quickly over to Nikki..The ending everything @ Brooklyn. Sorry Pacha :p

Nikki Beach review:

I've been to several of the Nikki Beach Clubs (Miami, St. Barths, Cabo) and Nikki Midtown had to have been my worst dining experience to date! I've had some wonderful dining experiences at the other Nikki Restaurants, so I was excited to try out Nikki Midtown. We went here for my friend's birthday dinner on a weeknight at 8pm. For our 8pm dinner, the music was blasted at FULL club volume....it was deafening! The club was barely full, but they found it necessary to keep the volume at its highest decibel, such that I couldn't even hear the person sitting RIGHT next to me. We asked them to turn down the volume a notch, so that we could enjoy a nice birthday dinner, but the volume remained high thru out the evening (maybe it's the acoustics of the place?). If you are a restaurant owner, I would assume that at 8pm on a weeknight, you would have the music at a lounge-level volume...and then turn it up at around 10ish (Obviously not the case at this place!). The appetizers were tasty, but the main courses were not anything to be desired. Tuna was pretty good, but the Mahi dish was overcooked and so inedible that no one finished their dishes. Desserts were pretty average. And, the crowd was surprisingly unappealing. I will give the place some credit though, because our waitress was very accommodating and the manager did give us a complimentary bottle of champagne. But, the experience with the ear-deafening music, horrible food and unappealing crowd was so crippling that I would avoid this place like the plague!

hmmmm O_o
