i recently dl'd some drum samples and theyre in a rfl file... now im pretty sure this is a reason sound pack, but is there a way to use it in fl studio w/out going through reason?

thanks, guys...

There is an official RFL unpacker, but I don't know where to find it.
If you've bought Reason, I think you can find it as a customer download.
There's no direct way of using RFL files in FL as I know of.

yes i second that, i think the refill unpacker is the only way u could use samples from them on Fruity Loops. ull get wave files ehen extract the refill so use them as any sample so laeding in fruity is same. I am not a reason or fruity user though:D

cheers

The only refill unpacker I can recall was an unofficial program that required reason 3 installed for it to work. I think I've still got it in my downloads folder somewhere.

The refill unpacker works wonders although now you can take any professional refill and turn it into a bunch of your own samples.

if you have reason, you can also rewire it into fl...but afaik it's only possible for one instance...

but you said you dont like dto do that anyway...
wizniz
i dont have reason...
pixxxan
if u dont have Reason Version 3
the unpacker wont work..
the easy thing to do is download the trial version
then use the unpacker
:D

You have 3 options.

1. Rewire reason into FL
2. Open the samples you like in Reason and save them as .wavs
3. Search around for the refill unpacker

guys can't you just give him what he needs?:-)

get the trial of reason, the refill unpacker shares some dlls or something...then...open the refill viewer (it must be put in same folder as reason!!!) open your refill click on file and choose save as or something like that...maybe it was right-click...whatever...

here's the file:
