Ummm I beg to differ Larsy. This will be the last big party I'm in Toronto for for awhile...and I'll be there Saturday to Monday...so you know what that means!!! Not to mention...L-cubed together again...HELLO!!
First week of classes usually go like this "Here is your syllabus, have a nice day!" It's not a bad week to be hurtin' if you have to!
Also...CHECK YOUR PMS! |

Doing co-op, Dima? |

Internship. |
Co-op terms are usually 4 months, sometimes 8 depending on the program. For example, my program has back-to-back work terms happening twice, and back-to-back school terms happening three times (a back-to-back term would be 8 consecutive months, as terms are 4 months long). Most other engineering programs have a back-to-back school term happening only once, and for the rest the work terms and school terms alternate.
A 12 month internship is really awesome. Will you get any more additinoal work experience on top of the 12 months? |

uhhhh...righttttttt!
Probably explains why some profs have designed courses in which the class avg. was around the B- range...and why some should have the percentage of students (approx. 25%) be in the A range...what BS...and such ridiculous standards....

And yes...in some respect UT is one of the top universities in the country but it suck balls in a lot of ways...(i.e. class size, methods of evaluation, criteria of giving out awards in research) but that's another topic itself...
My experience at UT was okay...I wish I could've enjoyed the experience more...
One thing I can say after doing undergrad there is that I wish that I could've just went there just for the love of learning instead of worrying about marks :(
BTW - UT poli sci boys are hawt!!!! :D |

The way I see it, a 75% grade in a class with an average of 60% is just as good as 85% in a class with an average of 70%. All that really matters is how well you are doing in terms of learning the material, relative to other classmates.

Well, no university will ever be perfect, unfortunately. Everyone is going to have problems. And I can say from experience, Waterloo Engineering is no exception. |
