Can't stand people ing with my teeth. I hate the dentist, not personaly you know, dentists in general.
Which leads me to my story of the day...
I have been in Okinawa for a year now and just checked into dental 2 months ago. Trying to stay away from them as much as possible. But they found out lol. I have heard horror storys about wisdom teeth and all that which makes my fear even worse. Especially with military dentist omg that they suck.
I had a check up today i have been sweating about for a week. I go there scared as sit down waiting forever moving every body part possible while still sitting down. They call me and take my blood pressure lol it was 169/92!!! He was like holy dude calm down your going to have a stroke (Wish i had:o ). They checked it again and it was 177/99 lol. They said go to medical after this to check me out im like ok.
The D looks at my teeth says they are ok but can tell i don't floss, whateve... He sees decay from not flossing around 2 teeth molars 17 & 18 i think. Stellar... :( Whoa your wisdom teeth are coming in. Yeah no the top 2 are down already. Do they hurt? No. Not at all? No. Are you saying that so you dont have to get them pulled? No. Which they didnt. 15 months ago they did:p I would rather take that pain then them breaking my jaw, slicing me open, and everything else that could possibly go wrong. Your bottom ones havent come in yet (but you can see them) so im going to give it a year and if they havent pushed through yet we'll pull them. I'm like sweet im clear for a year. I guess he was being nice cause he knew i was about to e myself.
I go to the front desk to schedual an appointment for the "fillings". She's like how about 1300? Ok tomorrow then? No today. OMG Baby Jesus help me. "It's better to get it done today". Ok whateve. My first appointment was at 0830. So i leave and go to medical for them to check my BP again. It was 123/76 lol.
1300.
I enter the gates of hell again. Get in the chair of doom and we get going. I was shaking like i was in a club lmfao! Clam down he said EASY FOR YOU TO SAY COCKBAG I GOT NEEDLES IN MY GUMS! Now don't get me wrong i don't mind needles at all. I love getting my blood drawn. I guess i would like herion then...oh well thats neither here or there. It starts to get numb and pokes around to make sure i cant feel it. AAHHH slut yeah give me more! :whip: Then after a million shots he starts drilling ohhh i think i feel something give me more! Lol my friggin eyeball was numb rolling to the side haha. He keeps drilling away and drilling and drilling and drilling. What...the was he drilling into. My bloody jawbone? An hour later exactly (clock behind my head) he finishes thank you baby jesus. They also had me scheduled for a cleaning right after that. :wtf: I had one when i checked in 2 months ago so i didnt go. It was another D that did the deed and he says lets make an appointment to get those pulled.
WHOA WHOA ING WHOA! The other D said he was going to yadda yadda yadda. No, they need to come out i dont care what he said.

No no no no no no no bloddy no! But since i have no rights i had to get them pulled:mad: I can't handle that. Putting thier foot up on the chair for leverage, thier knee on your chest for leverage haha no never gonna happen. At that place they only numb you up, no knock out. Thank god the lady that cleaned my teeth the first time was there. She convinced them to send me to another base hospital to have an oral surgeon do it. Anesthesia baby! Still sucks they are pulling them but i got the better deal.
My friggin molar is all jacked up. It hurts like a bitch my whole tooth is like gouged out and then filled. I thought a filling was just a little spot wtf.
I havent eaten anything all day im starving but don't wanna eat. My dinner was 1000mg of Tylenol extra strength.
Any other dentalphobias here? |

But don't worry I got you beat!
My record was 240/140 ( not dentist related or self scare induced ).
and humm yeah I really don't mind dentists but I am getting annoyed getting my blood drawn twice a week, my veins are hardening up and it's getting harder and harder to stick :( |

Dang. I heard you could have a stroke if your diastolic is over 100. Sucks about your veins. Is that cause your thingy...I remember reading somewhere else something was wrong. Forgot what it was. |

if you wanna be on dialysis 3 times a week for 4 hours each and basically feel like your life is being taken away from you ... well sure let's trade! ( but that stage is over as I got a transplant now )
ps: I had my wisdom teeth pulled out about 5 years ago, and it went just fine. I was out partying the evening after the surgery :p |

I'm a test patient for the new navy guys coming in. It's almost guaranteed that i'll be jacked up afterwards.
Oh i forgot to mention it's all 4 too. I'll take pics afterwards when i look like a grape. |

Yeah that really pisses me off actually. It's my friggin body you know. Government property.:stongue:
They say i can't deploy with out getting it done. (I leave for the Philippians in october) I don't see why. It don't hurt there is no reason. I did truly get lost on the way to college hahaha go ahead say it, SAAY IT!

| I havent been to the dentist in years, im just to scared to go. Fear of the dentist is a good excuse for me to take really good care of my teeth. I learned to live with my wisdom teeth (hurt for about a week when they were comming out, since then they havent been a bother) which is good becouse if there is one thing that scares me more than a dentist is needles. I was tossing nurses around the room when i was 5 when they tried to hold me down in the chair so that they could take my blood (by age 10 i manage to swing full grown doctors around in my efforts to escape). So being as scared as a human can be of needles when they come close to my arm, needles in my gums :nervous: I think if i saw a dentist trying to stick a needle into my i would just pass out from sheer horror. |
