Oh no not this again...

Worst tune in the history of EDM.Ian Van Dahl is pure quality compared to it! WTF its just a garbage farty bass-line FFS!I can't even dance to this its disgusting and it kills the whole notion of what house was/is about.
Beethoven
the fact that this is number 1 music.
its .

what a CHEESY ELECTRO year.

the first time i heard this song, before it was total mega huge, I thought it was just below another stupid electro song, and that this electro trend was getting ter by the moment.

But it had grown on me a little bit. The vocals totally suck, but it's better than a lot of other "electro house" that I've heard. So basically what I'm saying is that while I don't really like it, I don't think it deserves all the "worst track ever" talk either.

Well yea ... for people who consider listening to indie rock a PSY experience , call trance "techno" , and check the top 40 list everyday in order to update their iPods so they could be acordingly cool , this is good.

Ignorance is a blessing.:haha:

I saw the single today in a record shop and apparently it comes with a "rap version". Be afraid.

ok never mind with what I previously said, this track can off.

Derrick May played a version which I can only assume was the Matthew Dear one a few weeks ago when I saw him. It blew my mind.

Awful track.

I don't hate this track on itself, but:

It really uses a lot of elements that have been popular on the minimal/electro front last 2 years.(the high "buup bu-buup" sample for example, really resembles the one used in: spectrum - kinda new)

Therefor, it could be considered a "commercial rip-off" from the electro scene.

But now that it has gotten popular, the track itself is getting comercially ripped off, as more cheap-ass producers are cranking out crap like this.

Which means we'll be hearing uninspired electro garbage for the rest of 2007 :(

also, i think the producer lives in my city (utrecht)

It's just as bad as most tracks by Prydz and crew, just slightly stripped down.

No, i wouldn't say so...hmm well i mean eric prydz is just mainstream house, but its mainstream house nicely done (daft punk for example were a mainstream house act that played quite good dance music)especially some of his "pryda" works are cool (e.g. frankfurt, the gift, human behaviour, lesson-one, spooks). Well, yes its nothing special but you get some nice elements like cool funky rhythms and nice simple dreamy (a bit trancey) melodies nothing more nothing less.

This is disgusting. There is not a hint of melody but it doesn't matter since it is grouped as "house" (no way) music. Its the rhythm. Its so terrible and the sound is so disturbing. There is nothing funky or upbeat (or soulfull) in that record and good mainstream house at least owes to be funky and upbeat (e.g. daft punk). Its just a sequenced, disturbing, terrible farty noise ("farty" noises and anything disturbing in todays house or techno get grouped as "electro" or "minimal". Its true these terms are raped!)that goes over and over again. I don't know if you can actually consider it as "music" lol (see john cage thread)...:p
