| ive not heard silver bath but tranzy state of mind is one wicked tune... nothing like as good out ur stereo as it is in a club.. in a club it sets the place on fire :D |

Well, I've listened to "Tranzy State of Mind", and I'm sorry but to me it sounds like Push's latest effort is "neither here nor there."
What I mean by that is that has some synths that don't really go anywhere, there's no powerful driving rhythm, and on the whole it's a little boring -- though I agree, quite hypnotic.
However, a trance tune can be hypnotic AND interesting AND energetic AND danceable. This one isn't, I'm afraid.
Rather than come up with something truly innovative and memorable, Push seems to be recycling the same old themes that he's used before with people like Yves Deruyter. |

give it a few more listens Eugene... I thought the same thing, and i heard it once, and i was like DAMN! and i jacked the volume up and it blew me away. Lovin it ever since.
this tune is much better than Silver Bath. When that big beat comes in, it's massive destruction, and the whole song is pure energy. LOVE IT!!!! |

I love them both, but I think I'll have to go for tranzy state of mind :)
and davinox is right. when I first heard the sample of it at MIKE's website, it didn't really sound that exciting, but when I got the full rip and listened to it a couple of times, it got me hooked and I couldn't stop listening to it |
