I just got traktor 2.6, I was using an earlier version of traktor. With the earlier version everything was very easy. With this, Im ready to snap. When Im recording I have no ing idea what is going on, but it isnt recording in the spots it should be. When I start recording a track from the beggining to end for example it starts the recording mid track and then end. Sometimes (more frequently) it just records a split second then goes mute for the rest of the recording time. There is no consistency to the problem so I have no idea what to do. Please help Im getting so frustrated over just the most retarted things.

Here is how I get it to work in traktor 2 (not sure if its 2.6 but worth a try anyways)

1) start up traktor
2) go to traktor browser click reset button and do each option
3) press record button
4) do your set
5) press record button again
6) press the write button save in the location you want...

if that doesn't work uncheck the box when you go to write the mix...btw record takes forever in traktor 2 as its not live...it records each movement in the program and not the live audio...stupid, i know...

i tried this out two times so it should work...reply if you still need help

Yeah, thanks for the help. I just restarted my computer (duh) and then started saving the clips onto my desktop rather than allow traktor to save and overwrite in its own directory. Everything seems to be working fine, but Im proceeding with extreme caution now.

i think if you round-house kick your computer it might work better than throwing it...
