Anyone else as fond of this as I am?
I thought some of the vocals were, "You've been through pain...the moons are still the same," but apparently they're not as poetic as I thought. Lovely track, all the same. |

My fav. is the Album version from the Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi! album..I wish they'd produced more similar sounding stuff, though, as I haven't heard anything else like it from them. |

| Love this track, esp the Club Mix, the one on the LSD CD as evelon mentioned. The original is nice too. Almost anything Enigma does is great, but I especially like the stuff from the first four albums. Their new sound is like pop/dance/rock, not as ethereal as they used to be, esp on Le Roi Est Mort Vive Le Roi! or MCMXC a.D. The fourth CD "Screen Behind The Mirror" had some really nice tracks as well, though I wasn't a big "Gravity Of Love" or "Modern Crusaders" fan. Even though Enigma isn't trance music per say, if it weren't for Enigma, I probably wouldn't have gotten into trance music or much EDM period. |

| Great piece of music, it's up there with all other Enigma classics. My favourite has to be The Rivers Of Belief though. :eyespop: |

It is, yes. I'm not quite sure which mix I like better, as they are both equally as good, but I'd go with the remix if I had to choose. There's just something about the darker and more tribal tone of the remix that the original doesn't quite have.
Somehow, I managed to stumble across a copy of the promo vinyl from 1996 that has both mixes as well as an instrumental track of the album version... which is pretty cool to have.
My favorite Enigma song by far still has to be Push The Limits, but TNT comes in a close second. |

Best Enigma song would be "Return To Innocence" (even though I like many others), because that is what got me into Enigma and to this day, it still speaks to me. I knew when I heard it..that I recognized it from somewhere, alot of people do. It has a really good message to it. "Sadeness" is great too, but it's much darker than "Return To Innocence", much more of a dance-track...with that famous beat. I swear so many artists have copied that beat..
As far as instrumentals though, that's a toughy as well. "Shadows In Silence" gives me chills, it's got these wale calls (they sound like wale calls, or could be some chant) in the background and this haunting melody and this other-worldly voice..sounds ethnic.. and this gregorian chant that comes in. |

| Anyone hear "I Love You...I'll Kill You" it's on the CD "Cross Of Changes" as well as LSD? Amazing guitar part in that one (listening to it now). Jens Gad(the guitarist for Enigma) is quite talented. I have an album he produced called "La Spa Sonique" and although it doesn't make complete use of his guitar skills, it does show he is on par with Michael Cretu as far as production goes. |
