Good to see Mclaren not treating friendlies the way Sven did. I still dont think hes the right man for the job but atleast hes of to a positive start.
Lets hope this continues in the qualifiers. |

I totally agree, Venables wouldn't let him though.... 2 hot heads at the helm!
Pearce would have been a good choice in my eyes but I am happy with McLaren's decisions so far.
Mickey mouse team? I would love Scotland to qualify ;). I really think that crown is up for grabs by many teams this time... let's wait and see. |

hahah thanks Frase but I could only go on sound....
I have to say that I believe in positive thought for the boys though. Let's face it, we would have had a hard job beating Accrington Stanley in some matches! I am happy with this and the choices made. I take back all that I said about Crouch during the Trinny Tobago game... :) Fickle, I am! |

lol i hate crouch, he's scored goals yes but none against an opponent worth shouting about. Stick him infront of some worthy opponents & then thats where we start to see the 'true' crouch |

I dont like Crouch at all and I dont see him being included in the squad once rooney comes back and owen gets fit. Defoe is a great backup and Bent is moving up the ranks quickly.
Also Italy lost 2-0 to Croatia at home. Not really as shocking as it seems since not even one member of the world cup winning team was playing. |

I hated him and thought he was final confirmation of Sven's insanity towards the end of his term.
I love the young boys when they get their first caps, Owen, Beckham, Rooney - England prides itself on the spunky youngsters to storm on the pitch and make a mark - now we just need Walcott and Bent along with Rooney and Lennon to form a solid foundation.
Gerrard, Lampard, Carragher and Terry are still my boys. |
