Hello-

I am visiting the London the weekend of the 8th of September and am excited to see PVD at a real club, instead of the crappy ones he plays at where I live in Chicago. Can someone recommend if I need to purchase tickets in advance or will we be able to just pay the cover charge when we get there?

I saw Ferry at the Turnmills a few years back and we were able to just get tickets at the club.

Thanks!
Matt

yes you do need to purchase tickets, otherwise you'll end up waiting outside for four hours like i did before, and by the time you get in PvD 's set will be over:whip:

What if you get there early, like before 11? I'm used to going out that early, since that's what we do at home anyway

at popular clubs u have to be outside the club about half an hour before it opens other wise u will be waiting forever just try and make sure u get a ticket

OK- I took your advice and booked the tickets. It was only a 3 pound service fee! When I saw PVD and Tiesto in Chicago earlier this year, I paid $50 for a ticket plus a $7 service fee. So much better in Europe.

Can't wait to go. Any recos for Saturday night? I know it's Ministry of Sound's birthday weekend, but that gets a little touristy sometimes.

hate to burst your bubble but 3 quid and 7 dollars aren't that far apart :stongue:

But 12 pounds and $50 is very different!

if i go to this am i REALLY going to need to book tickets?

the last time i went to turnmills me and a mate booked tickets @ ticketmaster [i think] and they refused our reserved number and we ended up having to pay again to get in. [x 3]

That shouldn't have happened. I use Ticketweb (should i ever need to buy a ticket, heaven forbid!) and they're always good. Ticketmaster are and cost too much.

Looks like i've got my September lined up with Vaccine next week, PVd the following week, and Ferry the following week!
