By the sounds of it, you aren't very sensitive to her feelings. I am absolutely terrified of spiders, and yes, as irrational as it is, I would not enjoy a film featuring spiders attacking people in a confined place. Hello, that's the ultimate worst situation for someone who is afraid of something.
And whether you think it is dumb or not, people have irrational fears. I hardly doubt you are in a position to say what is a "dumb" fear or not. Surely there is something you dislike with a passion? Perhaps a man ing you in the ass? Some people would say that your fear of something along those lines is irrational and dumb.
Anyway, I digress. Point is, if you are already discovering that you often do not like being with her because she has "dumb" reasons for the way she is, and you are too insensitive to care about her feelings, then really, are you right for each other?
I know that if I was dating someone who was reconsidering our relationship because I didn't want to see some movie, I would dump him on the spot. |

I despise spiders.
When I was a kid, I had a huge one crawl under my shirt while I was asleep, and I woke up to it crawling on my back (it was as big as a tarantula)
Been terrified ever since...
