can someone explain to me what this is?

It is the smallest amount that you can increment or decrement the pitch. When CD decks first came out .1% was the best pitch resolution you could get meaning that you could change the pitch in .1% steps. Now the best CD decks have .02% resolution.

Pitch resolution determines how big the increments are when you change the pitch on something (for example, a cdj). Lets take the CDJ 200 for example. It has a maximum pitch resolution of 0.02% when set at the 6% scale. That means, the smallest movement of the pitch control will move it 0.02%. But, when it's set at 10% or 16%, the pitch resolution is increased to 0.05% (which is now less accurate). You want a the smallest number for pitch resolution. Kapisch?
