i feel like an idiot, i just pmed blake about this haha its one of the sickest songs i have ever heard, shows how talented he is :) will def want this one on wax!
hmm never realised that the distortion was unintentional, i think it gives it a better atmosphere :) her voice still sounds a bit crap sorry :( i think u should get the acapella i used a lyrics site to understand what she was saying hehe |

| the only thing i wanted to ask about was that reverse kick before one of the last breakdowns, it sounds out of key...which might sound strange but it fits so nicely but seems to be the wrong pitch, probably just me though |

its the same kick that appears in the rest of the song, just reversed.
im not sure what you mean by it being out of key either, drums are supposed to be inharmonic. there are some producers that do tune their kick drums however, like scott storch and telefon tel aviv, but they are on a level of badassness that i will never be able to attain. |

from what i know, im not great with music theory, but ive always been told that percussion is in a key, but i think it mainly relates to stuff like bongos and tablas, its possibly that nose after the reverse kick.
btw, why cant you get the accapella? it wouldnt be against the law or anything for her to give them to you would it?? |
