im in my second week of solitary since my mate got fired [we work in pairs, contractors for gov]
*luckily a mate of mine who i put forward has got the replacement job but he doesnt start for a few weeks [one week more here then two weeks when we're in aiya napa anyway]
so ive spent this afternoon:
reading mags
playing solitaire/freecell/spider soliataire
browsing TA
....mind numbingly fun.
and i've got my CV as good as it's ever gonna get on company time as well :/
i got this swish tennis ball keepy uppy game that took a good half hour out of the day. |

The time drags on even more because if you're given the choice between working and slacking, i choose slacking 9 times out of 10.

Work's . I hate my job I try to update my CV but cannot be motivated enough to get round to doing it.
I take about 10 cigarette breaks a day I utterly take the piss. A good way to kill time is to ring your mates or just go on a wander.
I've had countless team members today whinging about moving to another part of the building I've kept my headphones on all day apart from when I've been on the phone, and when they've collared me I've just pretended to listen.
Best thing to do is wind people up, I go into the client services department and wind up all the girls on a regular basis, and laugh as the HR director gives me an evil stare as I walk by. |
