An open letter to MWTA (RJT's local emo thread)

DJ RJT
With Garth, Angie, Will, and perhaps even more TA's leaving us, I've spent a fair amount of time in recent weeks going over just what TA, specifically MWTA has meant to me.

In general, all I really want to say is thank you, for many reasons...

Thank you for putting up with my stubborn bull, thank you for reminding me that I'm here because of the music, and not some pipe dream of being the next globetrotting DJ.

Thank you for some of the most amazing nights out of my life. Max Graham, Dekay, WMC, the OMGWTFBBQ... There are just too many to name.

Thank you for being more than just "internet acquantances," thank you for being my friends. The people I've met from MWTA dating all the way back to the first Addiction through now have been some of the most impressive individuals I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Thank you for all the things that the MWTA's have taught me, whether it be about music, the club scene, or life in general.

Thank you to people like Heather, Christin, Blake, Inphinity and all the others I've sounded off on here on MWTA for putting up with it and in the end, being exceptionally unerstanding.

Thank you for your unending support of my attempt to be a DJ.

Thank you for providing me with some of the best music I could ever possibly ask for. The talent pool is DEEEEEEP in MWTA.

And finally, thank you for bringing Myra into my life. I know it's cheesy and emo, but without MWTA I would perhaps never have found someone I work with on so many levels, and with whom I can say I've never been happier.

I'm going to close this thread right away, because I don't think any replies are needed. My only hope is that you all get a chance to see this, and know how much MWTA has meant to me over the last few years.

Cheers,

Rob
