Even though it was cancelled I was happy to see a nice crowd of people at the place! I'm sure most were expecting Sander and only found out at the door!
The thing about Hyper is that once you are there...you might as well stick around since there aren't any more decent options.
As for the sound system! Its good but needs something, its not too clear all around the club!
For Digweed! Lets count and see what happens...

A week ago today, a very talented, a highly respected DJ/producer/musician named Sander Kleinenberg was supposed to play at Myst Nightclub. He has been ill lately and most of his tours were cancelled for the summer of 2006...which means he actually IS sick cuz summer is when most of the biggest parties are hence, when most of the $$$ is made. At around 5:30pm on August 17th, 14 people called me within 9 minutes :wtf:...all to tell me that he was cancelled. I went home, with a bottle of rose wine and listened to each of his albums start to finish til I fell asleep. I was sooooooooo disappointed, obviously. Now, more than I ever have been before, I am soooooo damn fkn thankful I got to see him at Stereo...Just before he got sick...
Sander if you read this, please get well soon!!! You're too good at what you do to stop. Take care of yourself and your family :)
I'm sure there will be a replacement date...Until then, see you all at Diggggggerrrrrssss! :) |
