how do you make that short farty bass sound that you here in all the new tech house style tracks, that sander van doorn plays.

I have a virus TI, a jp 8000 and reason. which would be best to use?

To be honest with you its all over the place.. I use trilogy for my bass lines.. I am going to post a link to a recent track i am working on has that sounding bassline your talking about. Tell me if not.

most of these mono bass sounds come from bass samples, if you get your hands on Vengeance 2 there's loads of mono bass samples in different notes. Add a bit o reverb, get them placed properly and you got that bass.

First get a really punchy bassdrum with no lows so there is plenty off room for bass. Then get a saw and eq it fat.

i just use the 3xosc synth in FL studio... it works wonders if you play w/ cut knobs and adjust everything just right.

what does mono have to do with it? im not not doubting you i just dont understand. i just usually use some saw wav with full sustain and no release and make it sound very dry...play in low notes so the kick is above it
