I must admit i really suck at recreating eldritch's sequence... so, I threw in a different track done in 20min (a rough one):
Type: Pluck
Synth: V-Station
Clip: [[ LINK REMOVED ]]
btw, hope you guys will enjoy the patch :) |

This is how I made it:
- One saw osc.
- Filter at 45%
- Filter Envelope at 40%
- Short filter decay, About 30-40% (0 Sustain)
- Apply quite alot of compression to the sound to make it snappy.
- EQ
- Delay
- Reverb
- More compression to make the delay "duck".
You might also want to enable unison or add chorus. But I didn't need to do it.
If you use Reason I can send you the patch. |
jesus mate your a wizard in reason. do you mind if i use this patch? |

So i managed to recreate the sound on my v-station, and it sounds nice, but when it playes in my track, i feel its to "stiff", i feel that i whant it to be warmer, like the "ATB" pluck!?
Anyone knows what i mean and what i could do?
Cheers

Not at all, it's a good sound. But it doesn't sound quite like the typical A&B pluck. Why don't you just use Reason's subtractor synth (Or my combi patch :P )?
It's really good for creating those kind of sounds. |
