ever been just ultimately disappointed over and over again with something?
yeah... i haven't had a good meal in like, i don't know how long.
last night after i left work i decided to go get some sushi from the trendy gourmet supermarket, and when i got there, they were all out of sushi. disappointment #1.
ok, whatever, so i decided i'll just go get a California Pizza Kitchen sicilian style pizza from another grocery store. these pizzas are bomb, some of my favorite frozen pizzas (because they have fontina cheese which is delicious!)... so i go home and open the package and it looked like it had been shrinkwrapped way too tight. i thought "meh, whatever, it's probably fine" and cooked it up. started eating it and i realized everything about it was just all wrong. the cheese was rubbery and the meats were tough. bleh, i spit it out and threw it in the garbage. disappointment #2.
at that point i gave up on food and just decided i was too tired to deal with getting anything else to eat.
then today, i was soooo hungry for a Culver's cheeseburger, but because of road construction i couldn't even get to Culver's! damnit! disappointment #3.
so i drive down to Noodles instead, where i know i'll get something that satisfies me. yeah, maybe if the line wasn't so long it was almost extending out the front door. i wasn't gonna wait 30 minutes for that. disappointment #4.
instead, i walk over to Cousin's and get a BLT on garlic herb bread, bring it back to work and i'm just so excited to eat it! damnit, the bread is all soggy and gross. i ate it, but it really sucked. disappointment #5.
it's sad that the tastiest thing i had was the cigarette after my crummy BLT. :( |

When I won ColoursFest tickets back in 2004 on a radio show and never got them. :mad:
But I haven't had persistant disappointment. |

| Why can't they make cigarettes taste more like food? They taste all ashy, and feel way too papery coming out. I'm debating not putting them on my cereal at all any more : / |

man, i would cook more often if i had the money for more kitchen tools and bomb ass ingedients, and if i wasn't so lazy. i used to love cooking in my mom's kitchen cause she has sooo many spices and ingredients and kitchen tools and food processors and a rad gas stove with built-in grill. |
