Anyone like New Wave?
Personally I think this gendre of music is the one responsible of this site even existing...(or at least one of the main reasons).

Tears for Fears (their 1st album before they went all pop-ish)

grew up listening to it...still listen to it.
Depeche is THE artist that influenced me the most (musically).
Was never dissapointed by them, even when SoFaD was released.

yeah, i love new wave. there's sort of a "techno"/new wave movement ... if you can call it that.
anyways, you might be interested in this compilation called "future 80s" that was released last year on electric kingdom/low spirit. it has a lot of electro/wave sounding tracks such as fischerspooner's emerge, tok tok vs soffy o's missy queen is going to die, etc.
another group i like the sound of is ladytron. |

Imagine this : i was 15 and we dance with Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Camouflage, Depeche Mode, Information Society, in every party we have.
I have a great CD/Vinyl collection of this artists.
I started as dj in that time.
