So I went Saturday with 3 others, and I had a blast! Hardly any line-ups, and never waited in one for more than 10 minutes. It sprinkled in the afternoon only for about 1hr.

I won myself an electric scooter;

I'm not the type that plays midway games, as I am very familiar with the odds of winning any of the stuffed prizes. When ther odds are good, I play. For this particular one, the object of the game is to toss a plastic white ball, off of a circled area on an inclined board, and into a laundry basket below. There are metal boundry guards around the circle that bing if your shot is out of bounds.

Watch the demonstrator carefully, and see how he throws it. Ensure you have a top spin, in your underhand motion so that it rolls off the circle, and the spin will create drag on the ball so it stays near the board and into the basket below. *Watch your shoulder that it does not pass the line, they love to void your win because of this. Better if you distract him so he briefly looks away while you throw it.

The reason I know this game well, is I used to work in this game, and demonstrating it all summer when I worked at LaRonde in Montreal while in school. I haven't played it in years, as the rules change, and they tighten the rules at times. They were fairly loose this time. Practice at home with a wiffle ball if you can with a similar setup.

It was $5 for one ball, 3/10 or 7/$20. I picked the $20, since I haven't played in years, and I got it on my second ball. After you win, he'll offer you to play again, as if you get it in again, you'll win a cool electric pocketbike (2 wins). I shose not to, as I can get away riding to the convenience store on the sidewalk or street with the electric scooter, but not with the pocketbike. Maximum is 2 scooter prizes per winner (don't know if per day or season).

I worked most of the other games too, but I only play the demonstrating ones, as those you can win with some practice.

Other than that, they had the usual shops and stores, and free fruit roll-ups when you walk in. I found the rides were better than last year as well.

Tom's Mini Doughnuts are the crack cocaine of doughnuts. You will eat them until you are sick and unable to move.
