This documentary deserves a thread of it's own:

Temperate
The narrator is british.

It still sucks, but it's better then some college prick narrating it.

Maybe the airplanes exploded three or four times? Or maybe every cubic inch of the plane's gasoline managed to spread over 110 stories and even seep into the basements?

Obviously I was being sarcastic, but thanks for the documentary. It really sheds light on the whole explosion theory.

Listen pkc, would you mind refraining from insluts and provocations? I'm trying really hard not to sink to your level.

Done.

BTW, I've seen this way before you posted it, and no it doesn't change my opinion.

actually, its more a term of endearment for you shaolin ;) on any other topic, i would refrain, but im sorry, im still coming to terms with the fact that one of my really respected PDD colleagues believes all this stuff :( im honestly disappointed, as all your other posts & positions have always been of the highest quality.

Well thanks for the kind words ;), unfortunately, we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one issue. :(

EDIT: One more thing I think I should add, I almost lost all respect for Chosmky after I saw that, which was about a year ago or so. Ok, maybe that stretching it a little too far, I didn't loose all respect for him after that, but I was sure as hell pissed at Chomsky and still am. I don't believe for a second that he honestly believes a single word that came out of his mouth (in this specific case ofcourse).

um, i have never ever ever known chomsky to say anything he didnt truly believe. could you present reasons as to why he might publicly hold a position he disagreed with in private??

I guess I could, but I'd have to do alot of research to make sure I do and adequate job of it. And I'm not entirely sure I'm up for the task rightnow. One thing I hate about 9-11 debate is that supporters of the official story never confront any of the other facts about the hijackers, diversionary/practice security drills, NORAD standing down, PNAC, etc etc. And they fail to answer one simple question. Qui Bono (who benefits)? Like I said in my pervious post on the other thread, the WTC collaspe is only one part of the bigger picture.

Well, it's mostly my opinion based on my understanding of Chomsky and his world view. I guess I could make a few guesses:

1) He would be marginalized, even more than his is, atleast in the US, and probablt woudn't have any voice at all.

2) He's doesn't have the courage to confront the issue for many possible reasons, the above possibly being one of them.

3) Perhaps he believes that 1) would lead to an end to any type of activism he's a part of.

But those are just a few guesses, which are entirely my opinion ofcourse.

perhaps, but what your side never confront the larger questions that have been asked (at least by me), such as why would a government carry out such a murderous conspiracy in such a convoluted way, when there are much easier ways to get the job done? the sheer scope of this conspiracy makes it risky as hell.

yes, but its one of the bigger pictures of the bigger pictures ;) if you dont have a fully plausible argument for how the towers came down, youre in a world of strife.
