I am looking for any information about programming the Nordlead 3.. PLEASE NOT ABOUT BASIC SYNTHESIS. Just somthing specifically for the nord lead like how to make a certian sound or somthing. I havnt gotten it in the mail yet so i would apprecciate comments like "Just mess with it" out of this thread. Just looking to do my homework about it and yes ive printed the manual out already :-)

Nord Lead is ing easy to program. I know you already have a Virus TI and that can be a head to navigate but the Nord isn't like that. At least the NL2 wasn't - I haven't played an NL3. Its probably the easiest VA to program ever because there are no ty submenus and no abstract modulation recursivity to deal with and complicated routing tricks. The pitch stick is the most intuitive vibrato simulation ever.

I would almost say that if you cannot program a Nord Lead you may as well sell your Virus TI, get the refund on the NL3 and blow all the cash on coke and prostitutes instead. Dont need to know the ins and outs of subtractive synthesis in order to do either of those and you are still half way to being a superstar DJ. Its a win win situation.

If you can make a Virus TI sound half way decent then the Nord should a breeze.

Damn no ! =) cant wait till it arrives thats what im looking for... Actually I am thinking about getting the NL2 now. Im going to try out the 3 see how it goes, there is a shop here that has the nl2 on display so i can go check it out. and if all else fails ill get a moog maybe check out the little phatty. Ya after the tips you gave me with the virus I got the hang of things pritty quickly :-)

The thing is the TI is getting replaced with another one, and the NL3 is on back order so I have no hardware synth AND ITS MADDENING! Vsts are cool but I mean common would you rather take a VST or your NL2 or your Virus? eh, so I wait and all I can do is lay the ground work for tracks.
