There is a company that is holding a sort of promotion/food drive in conjunction with my local foodbank. I was wondering if you guys would be willing to help us out.
Until the end of march, Peak of the Market growers will donate 50lbs of fresh vegetables to the Winnipeg Harvest Food Bank for every person that signs up to receive free recipes by e-mail.
Essentially, in exchange for getting food related spams each person can donate 50lbs of fresh veggies to the local Winnipeg foodbank...which to me sounds like a pretty good trade considering I get tons of spam anyways.
They have a goal to try to earn 1 Million lbs of food by the end of March. Pass this around to everyone you know that would be interested in sacrificing a small portion of their e-mail junk mail folder in exchange for a great donation!
