I also enjoy the original Symphony from '96 much more than the retouched version from '99 we all know as Finished Symphony. Symphony has some elements which were removed from Finished Symphony and overall it's not as polished up as it's successor which i like. Symphony is also the track Sasha & Digweed used in NE2. |
i didn't really like the original symphony compared to finished symphony. i hated the little organ arpeggio that's in that version, so cheesy. then again i guess that was the thing to do in 1996, or something. :conf:

| Amazing tune, perfect use of strings methinks, if there is a problem with it, its that it might hit a bit too close to the core |

So the perfect use of strings is playing the same hook over and over, and then a little bridge? This is one of my bones about this track- people make it out to be a work of orchestral genius because they used strings. |

The genius of the track in part is that it exmplifies strings greatest attribute... to illustrate emotion. That's what people are responding to.
I find the overal effect of the track is far from static. I am swept up in its current and I travel with it till the conclusion. |

That pic is WILD!!!
I've heard them play a more upbeat mix of this before.
I'll ask them about it next time I get a chance! |
