He was responsible for a genocide and destroyed our national bank (Which is why J P morgan has had the national government by the nuts since the late 1800's [loans])
Has this issue ever been brought up? |

| Well, the obvious and dumb answer is that he's a dead president. Frankly I don't know why some presidents get dollars and some don't. Why the hell isn't TR on some damn money??? |

I always wondered why they never had Thomas Jefferson (Unless I guess you consider the defunct two dollar bill) but have Ben Franklin (never a President).
Oh well |

TJ was very controversial. Some people loved him, others hated him. I love reading about TJ, and I wish he were on a more circulated form of paper currency.
And teddy roosevelt was also controversial. His foreign policy, I don't agree with at all. If more countries were more robust, we could have had a world war on our hands because of teddy's aggresiveness. He was the first president to "Trust bust" (Even though Taft busted alot more trusts during his presidency). A devout enviromental activist. He is a good candidate for it as well. |

Hmm maybe this has something to do with the fact that all US presidents were human mortals like you and I and not some onmipotent gods.
Everyone is controversial. |

Hell, take a leader like Trudeau up here in Canada.
You want controversial?
He was very controversial but to this day he's still considered a great Canadian leader...
