Is it really? Do you have inside information on the prices of HD programming and HD televisions?
Not sarcasm, I am seriously curious. |
Heh I don't really know. I mean, I would assume that yes HD is the wave of the future. All local broadcasting here in LA is done in HD. CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, all the programs and sports are broadcast in HD. As for prices of HD televisions? They're still a bit expensive, but within the next few years i'm sure they'll go down. Look at flat-screen tvs, they're really cheap now. My roomies and I are gonna get this huge 32" one we saw for like $600. |

DJ :p, Work at HMV selling music to people, Starting uni for Intermedia/Cyberarts next year.
Intermedia/Cyberarts:
The Intermedia/Cyberarts Major is a dynamic program housed in the new Facuty of Fine Arts building of Concordia University located in the heart of downtown Montreal. IMCA has been developed to address the creative interests of student artists who want to explore the interdisciplinary relationships between emerging, new and existing media technologies and arts. Imagine a learning environment where you could study different combinations of Electronic Arts, Video, Performance Art, Immersive Environments and Sound Art production.
The Intermedia / Cyberarts Program (IMCA) within the Department of Studio Arts proposes a new undergraduate curriculum permitting students to combine studies in media arts, new technologies and interdisciplinary practices. Students may choose from introductory, intermediate and advanced courses in video, electronic arts and/or intermedia, focusing on one or other of these streams or selectively combining these areas of study, in conjunction with other Studio Arts or faculty offerings. The program encourages cross-pollination between traditional disciplines and new forms of artistic expression using technology and integrated media.
If you are interested in pursuing graduate studies in the same area, the Department of Studio Arts offers an MFA degree in Open Media. |
