Recently I have been getting mp3's that you can not fast forward through. In the id3 tag info it says that the track length is 1 second long. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to fix it other than converting it to wav then converting it back to mp3? This is real weird.

maybe you have some really messed up VBR mp3s? i've known some vbr encoded mp3s to not have the time tags (such as ones encoded by music match..) written in them, and give simaler problems in players. i've never experienced anything as bad like what you described tho.

Recently I downloaded Sven Väth "L'esperanza" (Visions of Shiva Mix) and when I tried to burn it onto CD it said it wasn't a proper audio file. When I tried to convert it, it wouldn't work and when I played it again I noticed I couldn't fast forward or rewind it! Later I found out it was WMA encoded!
