But seriously...if you're with a couple of people (i.e. the wicked TOTAs) who aren't the fake booby peeps, and the music is great... then there's no reason to fuss about the crowd and have it sour your night...that's my mentality...
I guess I just get into the music, so even at a night where the crowd is kind of sucky...if the music was wicked...it'd be leaving the club with all smiles...but that's my take on it... |

except that the crowd helps make the vibe. I know the idea of vibe in toronto is long dead, but go to a party elsewhere in the world where the crowd goes crazy and into a frenzy all at the same moment, and all night long and youll see what i mean.
Sometimes you see short bursts of that at some parties here. But its not much these days. |

I kind of understand what you mean...I guess it's b/c I haven't experienced partying elsewhere other than TO, yet...*sigh* someday :(
But yes...it'd be kind of nice to go to a venue where majority of the people are there for the music and to dance and sharing the experience with people who feel the same...and not for "other reasons..."...wishful thinking... |

not that there arent party favours elsewhere. But it doesnt seem to be the focus of the night, just the part that keeps you awake until 9 am. Know what i mean? |

At the time, all my peps were into hip hop and no one would go to edm clubs or club nights... so we were alwasy drinking and frequenting non edm bars...
ive fixed that by getting and making friedns who are into my music now. its much better.
i coudlnt go back... now that ive gotten used to it, going back is impossible. i simply dont wanna. would rather stay home. |
