| myspace is basically a free dating service if that's what you want it to be. once in a while i'll get a stray message about stuff like that, but not usually interested in that sort of stuff... |

Dude, i met my first chick in a game.. (C&C Renegade) Anybody remember it? Then to MSN, And eventually met her in real life in Manchester England. (Any hardcore dance fans here? GO THERE!) and checkout 'Wigan Pier' in Blackpool.
Just got back from there at the start of this year, and split up with her about a month ago because she was being pretty damn rude and evil. Got a new woman now and never been happier :D
Internet based relationships are not impossible, they just require 2 people who are both willing to make an effort. |

I know plenty of stories.
On another forum Im on, two people met over Facebook and have been going out for a few years. Same forum, there are two married couples, both met over the forums, one group are due a baby in a few weeks.
I think meeting over the net is a good thing. You get to know the person before you actually see them. Usually in life its "See a hot person, then find they're a strange catch". With the net, its "Get to know a person, find out they're a really nice person then find out they're hot". Probobly wouldnt have happened in RL cos you'd be too nervous to chat them up. |
