I certainly hope that the music follows suit of what I heard during my first Black and Blue (2004). It was totally Dark, Mega Deep, Utterly Sexy Tribal. Hahahaha.
Yup me and DDST...the love affair continues...LoL!!
I don't mind a lil uplifting vocal tunes here and there, but I PREFER the dark brooding stuff. Just makes me want to dance harder.

I just hope Clamaran can do for me what Fancuilli and Grondin did at Bal en Blanc - that is confirm the mixing skills I've been hearing about and gain a new fan in the process. If he blows chunks like Tenaglia did last year, then the $86 ticket I bought today will have to be accompanied by one of those "flights". :toothless

Two or three good djs is all you really need for a solid night. I don't get these bookings where you have six or seven widely known djs, some only playing two hour sets then bolting for another city or sleep, etc. Because, what often happens is that you tend to get the one or two djs thrown in there that empties a dancefloor and kills the vibe in the process. For sure bookers have to take into consideration moving tickets and also the dj's sched, so in some ways its understandable. Now if Clamaran bites, then we're all in trouble :p
Maybe Charles Poulin and Mark Anthony will surprise some.. Vinet, Grondin, Miller are a few that impressed me over the last few massives. Who knows?
The TA's that are stoked for this are the ones who've been to BnB already so they know what is up.. the vibe is second to none, way way better than the other massives. And of course, Chus&Ceb will bring it so that's the reason for the hype.
