Actually they are not really exotic to me either. I've been eating Cashew nut fruit since my childhood. Very common fruit in Mumbai, India during summer. So is the jackfruit and so are the banana flowers ;) But you won't see these things in USA. Blueberries are unheard of in India, but I can buy them cheap at Walmart here!
I did find a mention of jackfruit on a website that lists weird foods, and I was like wow ! This is the most common fruit grown in the country side from where I come. |
