A separate forum for Gear?

| I was wondering if maybe someone could make a separate subforum for gear on TA. So that there would be a place just for ppl to talk about new gear and gear they are thinking about buying. Instead of having those posts posted in the DJ both and Production Studio forums and getting mixed up with everything else in there. Just an idea. |

it does fit into that forum as well as other stuff like tracklist's and tracks u have brought recently and things like that. all im saying is that u could spit the forum in 2 by haveing a forum about just gear and then keep the dj booth for all other dj releated things. but if the ideas no good i doesent matter it was just a suggestion. |

the danger of segregating forums further than they are now, is you end up with 5 forums with minimal activity instead of one forum with lots of activity.
the DJ gear topic is easily covered by the existing forums. One of the reasons we've avoided making a movie forum and a technology forums is because it'd take valueable activity away from the chillout room. Once a topic starts to ingulf that forum (like polls and sports did) then it'll get it's own forum. |
