let me put it this way.... i was planning on giving him a CD with a latest remix of mine tonight - that I was pretty happy with and thought he would like. After I heard/saw the DVD, I didn't feel like giving it to him, at all. F'in blew me away. And it made my remix sound like Playskool. A very humbling experience. Also, my rmx is (almost sadly obviously) 4/4 and during the introduction he made a rather strong point about there being no occurrences of 4/4 on his new album.. yeah at that point I was like
The best way I can describe it is, he merged his film-scoring experience with his stutter and production experience and the end result is simply mind-blowing.

good meeting you 17thfloorplumbe..! |
