The girl got a ride with an acquaintance to nyc. After guest house they came back to the car and it had been towed because it was illegally parked. They went to the pound to pick up their car and got separated there. The girl drunk, alone, in the middle of nowhere (not sure where the impounded car lot is) in an unfamiliar city ended up dead. The crime didnt occur around spirit or guest house but that street with spirit and guest house has been where the police have been targeting for the past few weeks.

it's also the cops faults for letting young girls wonder around alone like that in the in city after certain hours not to mention that towing cars doesn't help either, these cops are also held accountable for the peoples actions!

I also really do think that its sad that these cops are cracking down on every single of these in clubs, its getting really stupid and out of control! it seems as though they want to shut down every single of these clubs, and yea ok people do drugs, some people are underage, at the clubs thats just part of the nightlife and thats the reality of it! its everywhere around the world, they need to get a in clue and understand that if they decide to have clubs around here this is how it is.

the press photos of the place when it first opened up were gorgeous...

it COULD have made money but they probably did not promote it to the right demographic~ wasnt it supposed to be a restaurant also? i mean, high-end restaurants, spas, they open up and fluorish all the time in NYC~ maybe operating costs just got TOO high so they had to resort back to it being a club...but they HAD to know what that would attract...

in the beginning i never even thought that it would revert back to being a nightclub...

.

and again...the root of the problem occurred cuz of (UNDERAGE) drinking...do ppl notice that its more often ALCOHOL that is at the root of all evil, not substances that ppl are taking?! alcohol causes more reported fights, incidents than other things combined?!

You've got to be kidding me. You're complaining that one, they towed an illegally parked car, two, the girls should have been able to drive drunk back home to Jersey, and three, that girls shouldn't be allowed to walk around at night (aka curfew in NYC :conf: ).

The cops aren't to blame for this and Guest House isn't to blame. The only person to blame is the scumbag and his girlfriend who raped and killed her. Second to blame are the girls themselves. They should have known better. They broke countless laws, and would have broken more if their car wasn't towed, endangering the lives of others. The attendants at the towyard wouldn't return their car for a reason. If they'd let those two wasted girls take a car, they'd have been in deep if they were pulled over later or if they got into an accident later, which was a lot more likely than one getting raped and killed. What they should have done is taken a cab home like a good drunk and gotten their car in the morning.

They have gotten the clue and realize what goes on inside. As a result, they've decided that they don't want to have those clubs around and are closing places

Um....yeah. Alcohol is the problem and everyone taking X and K is the solution. The substances aren't the problem, it's the users.

Also, did you neglect to include coke, speed, meth, and steroid buildup in your pool of substances, because with their inclusion, your argument about substances causing less fights is out the window. The fobs who started a fight with me at Hawtin were not drunk, and I doubt the ones who stabbed people at PvD were drunk either. To be honest, I hardly ever see fobs drinking, yet they tend to start half of the fights I've seen when I'm out (granted, I usually don't go out for guido nights, but I'm sure a lot of those fights are steroid and coke fueled).

It already looked like Made had pulled out of Spirit and moved to Pacha before all of this started. I think Tsunami had already jumped to Pacha, too. Like I said earlier, it seems like Spirit was doing much EDM anymore.

Fact is - it is the CLUBS responsibility to not allow anyone under the age of 21 into their clubs, and if it was an 18+ night it is again the CLUBS responsibility to not serve a minor. Those are standards one must abide by in order to obtain and keep a alchohol license....they failed...and their failure ultimatly caused the death of that girl.

You're right, she wasn't supposed to be inside. Whether she had a good fake ID, I don't know, but I'm really tired of everyone trying to blame the club. Her parents will sue them for millions potentially putting them out of business because someone, not the actual owner of the club, let her in. They'll probably get more punishment than the actual killers will.

You're trying to hold the entire club liable for something done by an employee. For all the posting you used to do in PDD, I'd think you'd understand that sometimes employees act counter the way they're supposed to. Think of our military in Abu Gharib, are they all to blame because a few of them tortured and abused prisoners?

I definitely don't hold Guest House as one of the most important actors in the death of this girl, but they're sure going to pay like they were the worst.

I agree, and as the holder of a fake ID that I have been using for the past year, - and this may sound glib - if that happened to me, I wouldn't blame the club for letting me in just cause I look like the girl on the ID.

Also, tiesto14, think about what you would have said if the girl had been 21 and legally in. Whose fault would it have been then? Hers? It doesn't matter what age she was, what matters is that she put herself at risk and she got killed - oh, and most importantly, getting murdered is not her fault in any way even if she put herself at risk.
