Could be...aliens are watching us and seeing how too many stupid people are reproducing and had to put a stop to it.
On the serious side, plan B is basically just like regular birth control pills it's just that each pill is much more stronger than normal birth control to immediately stop an egg from being released. |

theres quite a few drugs we don't really know exactly how they work.
As for Levonorgesterol, we know the effect but not exactly how it comes to that effect. Basically what it does is prevent the embryo implanting in the uterus by reducing the thickness of the layer (which I have conveniently forgotten the name of) inside the uterus.
At least thats going from memory, its been 2 years since I last needed to know about these drugs. |

Why do you care? It's statistically proven to prevent contraception without statistical evidence to suggest adverse side affects.

Do we know everything there is to know about how tylenol aids headaches? FFS quite a few people here do ecstasy ... like they're ones to be concerned about something like Plan B. |

If a scientist was directly quoted as saying that... then it would seem a bit odd. But it was probably some low paid intern or some cookie cutter reply that you read. Someone that knows little about the science of it could have easily misread it and what is on the page is an overly watered down version of what the webauthor understood as 'correct' |
