Clovis, the important thing is that at te beginning you often be in contact with her.. I don't believe that plane tickets are that expensive from LA seeing it's a popular route. If you're working, you can allow yourself weekend getaway trips on the east coast, because now you know that you have somewhere to stay.
It all depends, but some people say that long distance relationships, when the people see each other regurlaly, increase the intensity of the psychological and physical apsects of the couple ( buttchecks sex0rs ).
Think about what you want,

I'm going through a similar situation. I met this really nice attractive lady, last month. Anyway, to make a long story short, we've gotten very close, but I found out that she's moving back to Germany. :(

The issue with long distance relationships is that if they start out that way they are ultimately doomed in most cases.
If it's an already existant relationship and both part it's easier to maintain something when you are away; but if it starts out with a continent between the two ...
