i've stated my reasons before and i'll state them again...
1) weatherford --> carr (lotta hook ups last year, they'll be plenty more to come this year)
2) smith and maybe booker will be have a good game cuz its the first game and the defense wont be 100% (on either side)
3) rolle who had a ton of picks in spring training and mickey andrews who is in my opinion the BEST damn defense coordinator
4) miami missing 4 key starters
5) a ton of new assistant coaches for the um squad
6) kyle wright sucks, NINE sacks last year... the kid cant throw it outta bounds?! come on now!
now, there are my facts, i've stated them before but i've stated them again for all the morons
just wait till the games over, i'll be one posting the thread laughing at all you guys who thought miami was gonna win 56-7, cuz thats how you guys are acting. my prediction still stands, 20-14 fsu wins.
p.s. miami is a ass program. how come fsu plays miami and uf every year but miami only plays fsu? i'll give uf a break cuz the sec is by far the hardest and best conference in all of college football. but miami plays teams like famu and fiu. GIMME A ING BREAK! |

my prediction 14-6 :wtf: lol i dont i know i hate makin predictions but the only reason i say that is because i dont see alot of teams scoring on our D next year.
As for strength of schedule lets compare:
Miami's:
Rivalry game first game one of the hardest Florida State-Orange Bowl....Dude you have to give us some home truf adv.... again FSU last won there was 1998
Louisville at Louisville #13 ranked and very underrated a very tough team
Georgia Tech at Atlanta- again another completly underrated team (i hope they beat ND!!!)
Virginia Tech #16- we Fd them up last year but still a very solid team
Virginia- lol FSU knows there a good team and weatherford had a great game... defense maybe??? :conf:
other notables Maryland , Boston College
doesnt look like a schedule to me...
ps Drewstylz you might want consider changin the thread name to college football or football in general jsut cause season starts soon.... maybe stickie lol :p |

both FSU and Miami's out of conference schedule is somewhat creampuffed (not nearly as bad as wisconsin and alabama)
FSU has UF, Miami has Louisville, and both face 3 easily beatable teams respectively |

patmcgroin i can tell you are a HUGE fsu fan because you know your players names, its GREG CARR not DAVID CARR you douchebag.
1)Tyrone Moss being out is not a huge loss considering he didnt play the second half of last year. Charlie Jones is more than an adecquate back and we have 3 other RB's dying to play behind him.
2)Ryan Moore being out is also not a big deal. Greg Olsen is our #1 play maker and is uncoverable. We also have a very good playerin Darnell Jenkins and Lance Leggett is going to be a different player this year. One name that you will get used to SAM SHIELDS.
3)I dont have to say anything about our defense it is a given that every year the U has a Top 3 defense. Our DL is going to be unstoppable and we might have the best safety duo in Phillips and Merriweather.
4)FSU has no idea what to expect from our offense, they have no game film no scout offense to practice against since miami will have an entirely different offense.
5)Bobby Bowden still has no idea what is going on and you have arguably the worst offensive coordinator in college football.
6)Miami is something like 16-1 in night home openers.

You forgot a couple....
7)FSU has a player named Fag,which is a huge moral booster for Miami.
8)We have plenty of fire power at rb we have a running back by the name of Javares James who is Edgerin James cousin who will be a priemier back, Jones is very good but he has been having injury problems thru camp.This just adds to the depth.
9)Drew Weatherford is highly suspect at best he will panic under pressure on Monday and throw a few costly interceptions.

i have greg carr in one of my classes...guy is tall as hell...rolle is coming off the bench so that shows how good FSU's coverage defense is, and i saw an interview from larry coker who said he was not sure what to expect from FSU. if u guys have been watching college gameday u would hear that they say both Um AND FSU have two of the best d's in the league so stop saying how we have no defense because its not true...and we beat u guys last year with a freshman last year who has gained experience and gotten better
so ya i obviously want FSU to win so i will say that they will win but it is too hard to say with these two teams because whenever they play each other you have no idea what is going to happen |
