Even chavs went to it so there was always a feeling of school-like familiarity. Still, there was the usual of people of skiving off to the pub instead of going to afternoon's class, blah, blah, yadda yadda...
On the other hand, for me, university will be a totally different ball game. I feel it will be better for what you want to get out of and for better social relations.

College in USA = University. Not that 16-18 thing you have in UK where people do A levels and .

Bah!! I was Bio major/Chem minor and I had plenty of time for social activities. You just have to manage your time, that's all. |

exactly, its all about time management. As long as you don't let yourself get behind in your work you'll have plenty of time for shenanigans.
