On top of the limitation on registration (100 users) and the subsequent lack of transparency, I see some other problems: While your efforts may be as simple as spreading the music, it may also be something different - much as I've learned in the past -- many who make a big deal of their own goodwill/generosity often have ulterior motives. I can't let TA resources be used for what could eventually turn out to be just another 'private' file-sharing pool, which of course will 'expand' over time and likely require 'donations' from its members to handle the 'growth'.

This is nothing more than spamming the forum for your own recruitment purposes. Just because it is for an FTP site makes it no different than a WWW site with restricted access (or otherwise).
