| A friend of mine won tickets to see The Trews in St. Catharines(Thorold) this past weekend and asked me to go with her...so I did. I was hesitant at first to go because it isn't really my style of music but she said she was a fan and that I'd enjoy it. I do listen to alot of other genres outside of EDM but new rock bands that sound like every other forgettable rock band trying to hard to fake stardom on stage isn't my cup of tea. Would like to say I was pleasantly disppointed but I have to say it was one of the most painful shows I have ever had to sit/stand thru. Completely underwhelmed. The singer's voice made me want to hit somebody it was that bad and the crowd (a mix of small town drunks in Harley Davidson Tanks) were far too excited about the G. Thorogood "One bourbon one scotch one beer" house music that set the mood for the headliners. A few people at work since have told me that they are fans but I have a hard time believing these guys have any fans. Am I missing something here? IMO, The Trews = The Suck. |

Yea i know alot of people at schools that go to those kind of shows.
Sucks to be them, basically. |

| They have that one song...I forget what it's called...obviously not that memorable. But I thought the one song I Heard by them was okay. Definatly not concert worthy though. |

hahaha!! that's hilarious! i can just picture your face Heidi! kinda like these guys ~ Lucid!!! i was also forced to check them out over the aug. long w-e at a music festival north of winnipeg. i almost died!!!  :stongue:
